Deep Winter Photo Challenge

On Saturday, January 9th, the 10th annual Deep Winter Photo Challenge took place at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler and Whistler Traveller was there.


There were 5 challengers vying for the title of King or Queen of Storms.  This was a true Whistler competition as the competitors are given only 72 hours to shoot photos and then create a 5 minute slideshow to be judged in front of a live audience. 


And the winner is Chad Chomlack, winning the $10,000 grand prize!

Ashley Barker – 2nd Place

Zoya Lynch – 3rd Place

Zoya is an award winning photographer and filmmaker based in Revelstoke.  Her work is a careful combination of art, outdoor adventure and natural beauty.
